Ayumu Kouta Empty
PostSubject: Ayumu Kouta   Ayumu Kouta EmptySun Feb 22, 2009 4:28 pm

Character Template
Name: Ayumu Kouta

Age: 27

Gender: [M]ale

Village: Konohagakure no Sato

Appearance: Ayumu isn’t exactly the most attractive guy you’re going to find around town. He leaves a lot to be desired for a leader, especially since you think he’d be handsome. However, he isn’t. His face is full of freckles, and I mean heavily noticeable freckles. Despite that, he maintains a masculine, boyish look. He has a mustache starting to grow in. Ayumu also has very, very tanned skin. To bring a real-world comparison in, look at your average Native American. He’s not white, but he’s not black, to give you another idea. Uhm, Ayumu is not very muscular. Sure, he has nice, firm biceps and triceps, but they’re only visible when he flexes. Another noticeable feature of Ayumu would be his sparkling, brown eyes. Feminine, but he makes them masculine.

Ayumu has a fetish for the color red. Who would have guessed it, but he’s obsessed with it. Literally, he won’t wear a thing that does not have red on it. To show you an example, we don’t have to look any further than Ayumu’s own style of clothing. It reflects his personality, so he makes it personal. He wears a red, nice, silky, long robe. This robe, literally, stretches to the ground. This of course, is a formal robe he’d wear around the village. However, his choice of battle clothing is much, much difference. He recognizes that a traditional robe would get in the away in the midst of the battle. Thus, under this robe is basically a red jumpsuit, only I wouldn’t call it that. It requires a belt, so he uses his Konoha headband for that. Wrapped around his waist is a breakaway piece of clothing that isn’t red, since he had no say in the matter. In the front of this black cloth is a metal piece with a leaf carved in the center, this of course, is traditionally a headband, but he uses it as a belt.

He doesn’t wear sandals simply because he doesn’t like the feel of sand between his toes. He’s rather unique in this decision of wearing large, spiked boots. By spiked, I mean boots with a spike on the end. It isn’t a sharp spike, it can be used as a weapon, but it’s just for decoration in most cases. Then, finally, we have Ayumu’s hair. He makes a big commotion over this, typically like metro sexual would. He doesn’t want it to be messed up, he wants it to be perfect at all times, even in battle. Thus, his hair is not a mess. It looks professionally cut, trimmed around the edges, spiked in the front slightly and is black with brown highlights.

Likes: Classical Arts

Dislikes: Poor Performances

Personality: Ayumu has no peculiar personality to him. He’s a pretty average guy, to say the least. He has his dislikes and of course, his likes. However, some say he’s a more sinister and darker figure than meets the eye. This, of course, has some truth to it. He maintains a neutral and optimistic outlook on life, generally doing the right thing, but he likes to cause destruction along the way. He’s also sadistic. He’ll torture his enemies, whether it is physically or mentally; which makes him expert interrogator. He’s not afraid of anyone or anything, though he will cower if he finds it necessary. For example, if he is the only one on the battle front against five thousand, he’ll flee and regroup with a few squads. However, anyone would do that, even the bravest of knights from the feudal-era.

Let’s get a more personal look at Ayumu. He’s a person who likes the quiet to pray the gods of Konoha. He’s religious, praying to the sun, the moon, and the stars. He says all the heavenly beings have supported what he’s done thus far in accordance to the village. This mentality or attitude has made him the subject of ridicule for many months. He doesn’t train much, and when he does, it is only for brief periods of time. Also, Ayumu is rebellious against most leaders if they don’t go about suiting Ayumu’s needs.

History: Birth

A cold, lonely night it was twenty-seven years ago. It was raining in Konoha just like it typically did in the summer. In a hospital room, there was a small, poor family of two people. The mother who was about twenty-three laid flat on her back, ready to give birth to her first son, Ayumu Kouta. They had already decided on a name since they knew the sex. This made the first few days of Ayumu’s life more comfortable and unique since he was being called by name. Anyway, back to the point – the female lying in bed began to push as a medical doctor rushed in to the room. Immediately! He was forced to catch the infant as his mother pushed him out...

The room fell silent. The newly born baby didn’t begin to cry. His thumb was in his mouth the instant he could fit it in. It was a beautiful image, but the doctor had to disrupt it for “medical” purposes. The family understood this, but the child did not. The doctor removed the thumb from Ayumu’s mouth. A bad move; the child became violent, shaking rapidly and disrupting the peace in the room. He even attempted to bite the doctor but of course, failed. At this point, Ayumu’s father had seen enough and threw the doctor out of the room. He was disgusted by how someone could disrupt a sleeping baby. The father shrugged, smiled and gave the new born to his mother. She wrapped him in a blanket and made a comment about how much of a cute baby boy he was.

His mother kissed the child on the forehead and said in a calm, sweet, beautiful voice, “Your name is Ayumu Kouta.” The baby giggled in excitement. Then, he went back to sucking on his thumb and staring at a wall. Ayumu’s life was pretty sweet for these few days, but then… he had to go home…

Going Home

Apparently, Ayumu was a healthy baby boy. He was able to go home with his family in a remarkable three days. He had no visible health problems, or any concerns that needed to be treated at the moment. In fact, even his ride home was special. His uncle owned a farm. On that farm were horses. Thus, the loving uncle of Ayumu’s arranged for a horse-pulled basket to pick his nephew up and bring him home. The ride was pretty peaceful, nothing out of the ordinary happened… though; the ride was abnormally long since he didn’t live in the residential district of Konoha like most. Instead, he lived on the outskirts of town where everything was pretty bad and cheap. Literally, most of the houses were torn apart and destroyed. It was all Ayumu’s parents could afford at the moment.

Even so, the wide-eyed explorer liked the area. He’d crawl around the yard, looking for things to put in his mouth. He almost died in that yard, which made his parents decide it was time to move…

The Incident

Ayumu was now six months old. He discovered he could get his parents’ attention simply by making weird, unknown noises. They figured he could talk or something, I guess. Regardless, after making them happy they’d let him go play in the front yard, just like he’d do every day, all day. One afternoon, the innocent child saw something moving around in the bushes. He thought it was a fancy, new toy. Oh, he was wrong…

Ayumu saw a snake, a small, white snake, to be exact. Ayumu was curious. He wanted to get this new, fancy toy. He would do anything in his tiny grasp of power to get it. Thus, as much as he shouldn’t, he went in the bushes. He saw the toy, oh yes… he saw the snake. Curiously, he did what any child would do, and reached for it… the snake hissed and bit his little fingers. Ayumu cried and cried, shaking his arm around, trying to get the snake off. His parents came running out and comforted their little child. They saw the snake slither away and were worried. Normally, the type of snake they saw would be venomous, but luckily for Ayumu, the snake had lost its fangs before biting him. Ayumu was safe, but his parents decided to move into the center of Konoha. They couldn’t afford it, but they wanted to keep their child safe.

Fast Forward

Luckily for Ayumu, he and his family moved away from that ghetto. His life continues just as any other child’s does until he’s about three when he decides it is time to become a ninja… or shinobi, whatever you want to call it…

Ninjahood

When reaching the ripe, old age of three, Ayumu had a pretty clear idea of what he wanted to do when he grew up. He wanted to become a ninja, but not just any ninja, a ninja of legend. He wanted to be someone of power, someone who commanded respect and got it. Basically, he wanted to be a very, very powerful man no one would even dare defy to the slightest degree. For a year, he let his dreams take a hold of what he did. This had its downfalls, but it also had some upsides. He showed dedication and love for the arts of battle, even to a point where he’d come back late, bruised beyond belief just from beating log to the ground, or falling out of a tree.

Ayumu Kouta Empty
PostSubject: Re: Ayumu Kouta   Ayumu Kouta EmptySun Feb 22, 2009 4:29 pm

Ninjahood Cont.

Then, one day when Ayumu was walking home from a training session at night, he overheard two, older boys discussing what they learned at the academy yesterday. Ayumu was intrigued, so he took the long way home by following the boys. He learned every bit of information he could before going back to his own home.

The next morning, Ayumu decided it was time he’d take a stroll to the academy once and for all. He arrived in a hurry, out of breath, and panting. Quickly, Ayumu approached the large, wooden counter. He was greeted by the friendly smile of an elderly woman.

“Are you here to attend class? I’ve never seen you around here before.” She said with a smile plastered across her face. She looked through some papers before handing them to Ayumu. He looked puzzled. He didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know how to write, I should say. He scratched his head then smirked. It was the smirk of confidence, like a light bulb had gone off in his head. He bit his finger and drew a picture of a shuriken with his blood onto the paper. Confidently, he approached the desk once more and handed the woman the papers and walked down a hallway. He didn’t even know where to go, so he entered a random, dark classroom.

His First Class

The classroom was dark for a reason. Inside, there was a demonstration of a contained flame going on; well, not really a flame. It was a technique – Katon: Goukakyu no Jutsu. To Ayumu’s despair, he –almost- walked into the impact zone. The class laughed at him, but the brace child took a seat and observed. He watched how the fire lit up the room in the most comfortable way. He was amazed. It was here that he decided he –really- wanted to become a shinobi at all costs and no one could stop him.

Fast Forward II

For five years, Ayumu studied at the academy before graduating. He wasn’t at the top of his class, though. More of the bottom, since, well, he wasn’t the smartest or the most talented. He was able to perform the basics and that was it, despite all the training he had done. Although, Ayumu, had something burning within his soul; he wouldn’t let it die. He was special, if he had to train for all eternity for it to show, he would.

Genin Arc

Immediately after graduating from the academy, Ayumu found himself versed in several affairs. Well, he wasn’t versed, per say. To be exact, he wasn’t skilled in anything at that point. He was just going with the flow until he was assigned to a squad of other Genin from his graduating class. This was when he began to form his own, personal, outlook on life, whether it is for good, or for bad.

He learned that power was good, and people with power, had respect. That respect came with a title, and the highest title was Hokage in his village. He despised someone with this much power because it wasn’t himself. Thus, he trained under his sensei for four, long months. It was during this time that he polished his skills and developed a knack for ninjutsu; preferably ninjutsu that had to deal with the katon or fire element.

Chuunin Exam

An exam, well, a life changing exam; everyone who wanted to be a ninja had to go through it, like it or not. Ayumu knew this, but he didn’t like it. He heard the proctors were tough and would look for any reason to fail you. Well, that came with a plus. Ayumu used that as motivation to train even harder and obtain the ability to use a different elemental ninjutsu – rock ninjutsu.

The first part of the exam was a tournament. This proved to be the toughest part, in which, Ayumu almost failed. However, he was able to beat all three of his opponents barely, so he was granted permission to move onto the next phase – an exam.

The exam was hard, and Ayumu failed it. If it wasn’t for his teammates being able to pass it, he wouldn’t have been able to progress. Good thing he was partnered up with the smartest kid in the village, huh? The final task was a game of wits, which pushed everyone to the edge and tested how well they could act under pressure. Ayumu did pretty well, he knew how to position himself for an easy victory, which lead to his (and his squad’s) promotion to the rank of Chuunin.

Chuunin Arc

Moments after ascending to the rank of Chuunin, Ayumu found him receiving his first A rank mission. It was a task that most would not be able to accomplish or even perform at his rank, thus he was honored. In fact, he even heard that the successful completion of this mission in record time would result in his promotion to the next highest rank, Jounin. As you can see, he had a lot on his plate. He wanted to complete this mission with every fiber in his body, but he was a bit unsure of himself. Immediately, he pleads for the mission to be delayed to a later time if possible, luckily, it was. This gave Ayumu more time of a Chuunin and more time to train.

Ayumu decided the best course of action would be to mentally prepare him for the task. He did this by praying the moon, the sun and the stars for five days while fasting. He shed a few pounds during the rigid task, but that’s not important. He became spiritual for the first time in his life for those five days, and it made him feel good. He sensed a higher power bestowing something onto his life, thus Ayumu concluded it was time he finish the mission.

A Rank Mission ~ Promotion to Jounin

Seven days. He had seven days to travel to the land of waves and assassinate a merciless, jounin rank bounty hunter. The task would not be easy, and Ayumu knew this. Deep down in his heart, he was preparing for the worst of the worst – death. Ayumu left the village without a goodbye to his family and friends and began to travel…

Sadly, Ayumu wasted most of the time he had to complete the mission traveling. This made the mission that much harder; three days to find and kill someone, then carry their body back to Konoha. A scenario most would never find them in, but Ayumu did find himself in it, so he had to carry on, for the village.

Finding the villain was not hard, in fact, he found him within hours of arriving in the Land of Waves. He was torturing a group of villagers, and Ayumu vowed to put a stop to it. He immediately withdrew a kunai knife from his pack and flung it towards the enemy. It initiated a fight which was a blood bath in more ways than one. They had disagreements in what techniques should be used on each other, but Ayumu decided to end the battle by burning his enemy to a nice, firm crisp. He got him wrapped around a tree and this where the battle slowly ended… “Katon: Gouryuuka no Jutsu” was the technique that was used to end his enemy’s life. He let the flame around the body die down before setting off back to the leaf village.

When he made it back to the village, he found his parents waiting for him. They had a gift - a flak jacket. They said it was dropped off the Hokage with a note in it. "Congratulations." Thus, Ayumu was a Jounin now. A teacher, a leader to some, and a hero to others. Though, he didn't care. It was just another brick wall placed in front of him, because he wanted something else, a higher posistion...

Nindo: None.

Ayumu Kouta Empty
PostSubject: Re: Ayumu Kouta   Ayumu Kouta EmptySun Feb 22, 2009 4:32 pm

Ninja Area

Element: Katon & Doton

Rank: Jounin

Skill: Nin & Genjutsu

Clan: Kouta (No special abilities, just a family.)

Jutsus:

Name: Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu
Rank: C
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Katon
Description: Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu is a technique commonly utilized by the shinobi, Ayumu Kouta. Despite the technique's fairly low letter grade, it can be extremely powerful and has many different uses. For example; the technique can be used as a fireball or even a flamethrower when combined with string.

Name: Shunshin no Jutsu
Rank: D
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: ---
Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a technique very common throughout the shinobi world. Like most ninja, Ayumu, has this technique. It is rather useful, especially for escapes. By focusing their chakra on an area in sight, the user can quickly appear at that exact spot. The technique is very noisy, however, causing a puff of smoke in the area the person disappears from and reappears at.

Name: Katon: Gouryuuka no Jutsu
Rank: B
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Katon
Description: Gouryuuka no Jutsu is a more powerful version of the Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu. Instead of a fireball, the user creates a dragon-like flame which scurries across the air. The fire is so intense it is even capable of going through concrete unscarred.

Name: Katon: Ryuuka no Jutsu
Rank: C
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Katon
Description: Katon: Ryuuka no Jutsu is a lesser version of the Gouryukka no Jutsu technique, but it is still powerful. This flame, however, is uncontrollable and is only used in combination with guiding wire. The torrential flame can easily be put out though, unlike the other Katon techniques in Ayumu's arsenal. For example; a small wind can easily cause the flame to stop in its path.

Name: Doton: Doryu Heki
Rank: B
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Doton
Description: Doton: Doryu Heki is Ayumu's only earth style technique. Surprising, huh? The user usually generates a large amount of chakra into their hands and then slams them onto the ground, causing a huge, rock wall to form in front of them. Ayumu uses this to his advantage not only as a great defensive technique, but an offensive one. You'll generally find him using the katon element on this wall to form lava.

Name: Shou Ishiki
Rank: S
Type: Genjutsu
Element: ---
Description: Shou Ishiki a technique unique to Ayumu. In fact, he developed it; the technique literally means "Destroy Senses" because that's what it does. Ayumu will start off by walking close to his victim and whispering the name of the technique into their ear. That's where it all begins... if the caster has the serpent hand sign formed and their chakra focused, they can start the withering away of the senses. The technique cannot kill, and is actually not really destroying the senses. It only makes the victim think that is happening in hopes of driving them insane. However, the technique comes with very real drawbacks, among those being severe aches and pains that last the entire duration of the technique. Oh yeah, did I mention the caster cannot move?

Name: Henge no Jutsu
Rank: E
Type: Genjutsu
Element: ---
Description: An academy level technique known by most shinobi throughout the land. The technique only has on purpose and that is to transform the user into an object or person. For example, in Ayumu's case, he can use the technique to transform himself into a snake, or any other object that is on his mind.

Name: Kage Bushin no Jutsu
Rank: B
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: ---
Description: Kage Bushin no Jutsu is an extraordinary technique that allows the user to make copies of him or herself. The technique, though, requires the user to divide his chakra evenly into every copy. This means, one clone needs 50% of your chakra. This can give the enemy the upper hand in battle, especially since the clones do die fairly easily. Though, they're great when you need a partner in battle, since they are solid after all.

Name: Kai
Rank: D?
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: --
Description: A basic, but powerful technique unique to those few ninja who are great with their chakra. The technique allows the user to dispel a genjutsu before it takes affect. For balance's sake, Ayumu can only use it once in a battle.

Name: Fissure
Rank: C
Type: Taijutsu
Element: ---
Description: A technique developed by Ayumu at a young age. The technique doesn't have much power, nor is it something to fuss over. All it does is create a small tear in the ground. Typically, it is used to create a divide, but it can be used for offensive purposes of catching one's enemy in the ground.
